White Domain

Welcome to White Domain. After many years of infrequent updates, I have decided to put White Domain to some useful purpose - cataloging the genealogy of the White, Ireton, Jackson, and Gardiner families to which Helen and I are related. The information in my databases is badly outdated so I will require your assistance in bringing the family trees up to date.

Every once in awhile I get a chance to play a bit more with TNG, the genealogy software that I've licensed for use on White Domain.

As I mentioned a few months ago, I've purchased a licence for TNG Genealogy Software. I've been testing it on an home-based server and it seems to work quite well. The next step will be to move it to White Domain and integrate it into the Drupal CMS that is the basis for the structure of the website.

Today I finally broke down and purchased a licence for TNG Genealogy Software for White Domain. Before I install it on White Domain I will be testing it on a server at home just to make sure I know how to install and use it properly.

I recently received an email from Terry White informing me that Bill White and his son Joe have a bluegrass group called Bill White and White Pine. I did a quick check of the database and found out that Bill and I are third cousins.

It seems there's a music gene in the White DNA because numerous members of the family have been and currently are involved in music.

My father, Ed, played for almost 30 years in the Mississippi River Boys, a country dance band that entertained throughout Eastern Ontario.

I seriously been considering licensing a copy of TNG (The Next Generation) Genealogy Site Building software for White Domain. It would alleviate the major problem I now have of generating a multitude of HTML files in numerous sub-directories and then uploading them to the server after deleting the directories that are already there.

Poor old White Domain has been left in the lurch lately as I participated in Sean Rasmussen's "For A Few Dollars More" Learn and Earn Internet Marketing competition out of Australia.

Competing in an event originating in Australia means getting up a wee bit early to listen to Webinars. Then undertaking the various challenges during the competition severely cut into my free time. Remember, it's hard work being retired.

The Ireton Family Tree has been regenerated from the database and now displays Cameron Ireton's current information.

We have now added a Links section to White Domain. The menu item to access it is located in the top menu.
