White Domain

As I mentioned a few months ago, I've purchased a licence for TNG Genealogy Software. I've been testing it on an home-based server and it seems to work quite well. The next step will be to move it to White Domain and integrate it into the Drupal CMS that is the basis for the structure of the website.

If all works well, your White Domain username and password will also give you access to the TNG database. Once you login to White Domain an new menu item, TNG will appear in the top menu. Once TNG is implemented, I will be removing the Genealogy menu item and access to the genealogy data will be available only to registered users.

I have to test out a new version of the module that allows integration of TNG into the web site. Once I've completed the test I'll just have to sit down, take a deep breath, and make the plunge of migrating all the data to the new, more secure environment. Hopefully, I won't break anything.

As it stands now, I plan to migrate the data sometime before the end of February at which point I'll be asking you to test out the new features.
